My S60R project

Sven,
I'll be running her with BW efr7670 and I hope to have her programmed by Daniel. I'm not really hunting for figures so I do not expect to see the magical numbers close to 600hp. I'd be pretty happy if I'd have something above 500hp.

here by tpc you can buy this for 850, I think "the same" for ~600hp

C70oldstyle, is that a pressure relief valve above the TB?

Well, initially when I started the project it was hard to find anything on the market for the P2R car. All that I could do was go the costume made root and that turned to be quite time consuming and quite expensive.

I do see they a lot of "products" can be sourced now and it is really nice to see what people are making for their volvos.

Some fresh pictures :)

Mat black finish, anyone?

Well,
I do have an update but I haven't got any pictures now.
The oil catch can has been made to replace the factory PCV system and the intake manifold has received ports for aqua mist injection. The manifold should be on it's way to the paint shop to get a layer of some paint. I'll post pictures of it painted and before it gets mounted on the car.

That's the best way to work on such projects in my opinion - set a pretty generous goal to reach, but no limits you "have to" reach. When you are hunting for figures, you tend to lose the overview and overlook other important parts and factors, durability for example. Keep on going. ;)

That's right Sven. There should be enough room to achive some decent numbers, but I'll let it surprise me. ;)

On the other note, here is another update:

Volvette, if you are running more than stock power on your car then the original PCV system in probably not adequate for your increased blow by.

I'll have some more pictures by Wednesday evening.

Cheers

Great.

As my brother was still not able to repair my clutch slave cylinder, due our broken car-lift, I have plenty of time for detail work in my R ... :-[

Uh, it is bad when tools get broken and we can't get our toys fixed. Hope your car gets fixed soon!

Guys, I need a small help. After the forum has moved to the different host I can not find the "English" button. Is it gone?

And finally some reward pictures for all who have been waiting patiently ;)

Look to the top left corner, you'll see a button called "Profil". Go there an select the point "Benutzerkonto" on the drop down menu that appears when you move your mouse over the "Profil" button. The second entry on the upcoming site should be the language, select english, enter your current password in the last field and accept the change with the button on the bottom right saying "Profil ändern" - done.

Looks like that there is a tube missing :D Am I right? :D
[/quote]
You'd need to specify which tube you are on about.

The throttle body is missing and all of the small silicon hoses are missing.

Thanks for the help Sven. I'll get on it now. :)

Some fresh updates are here.
The charge cooler's radiator is mounted. Fuel and coolant hoses have been installed and protected with a piece of SS flat bar. We have decided to run the fuel return line just in case if in future we'll need to upgrade to FPR with return line.

Pics :)

Looks great.

By the way you can move the horns to the bumper hole of the driver side.
They take quite a lot air flow to the radiator.

That is a good advice Volvette!
I was planing on running an aluminium radiator and additional oil cooler. Removing the horns will free up some space for that upgrade.

Thanks!
