This tiny little box is actually a power ball of all the latest features and benefits that can only be found on the aftermarket head units for Volvo C30, V50, S40 and C70. Fully compatible with the vehicle and completely supporting all of the original features, BLP-990 allows you to enjoy your ride to the fullest. And it does it with style, on a 6” HD touch screen display.
As the most technically advanced unit available for your P1 vehicle, BLP-990 has a split entertainment system with an external DVD-player installed in the glove compartment and an LCD panel frame installed in the waterfall dash together with the original ICM board. The DVD player is connected via OEM plug and play fitment and via car connectors for power and speakers.
BLP-990 software can be upgraded. New versions are periodically released. And the best part: they are available FREE OF CHARGE. The BLP-990 system bought is pre-loaded with the very latest system firmware available at the time of purchase.

- OEM OSD (compatible with the original ICM board, OSD image from the ICM board will be displayed identically; but this time they will be on a 6” HD LCD instead on a graphic display. The OSD can be turned OFF or ON through the unit and will automatically appear for a couple of seconds when certain dash buttons are used, such as climate controllers.)
- Steering wheel buttons ( BLP-990 is fully compatible with the steering wheel buttons used to control volume and tracks)

Digital TV-Tuner (DVB-T) is an optional extra which will allow you to view free-to-air digital television channels on your BLP-990 unit. The Official BLP branded DVB-T (MPEG4) tuner allows you to control the TV features through the touch screen. This option is completely separate and can be added any time after installing the head unit. It is available in our store.
DAB Digital Radio Tuner is an optional extra which will allow you to listen to DAB Radio stations on your BLP unit. This option is completely separate and can be added any time after installing the head unit. It is available in our store.
Reversing Camera is an optional extra which can be added to the BLP-990 head unit. When fitted, the unit will display the view of the rear of the car on the screen automatically when the car is put in reverse.
